Terms of Service

The terms that govern use of the platform.

These terms are a starting point for your legal team to review and adapt for each country you operate in. They are not legal advice.

1. Who we are

My Blog operates an online marketplace that connects people who need a task done with people willing to do it. We are not a party to the agreement between them, and we do not employ, supervise or direct providers.

2. Eligibility

You must be of legal age in your country and able to enter into a binding contract. One account per person.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for the security of your account and everything done through it. Provide accurate information and keep it current.

4. Tasks and offers

A task is an invitation to make an offer. When a customer accepts an offer, a contract is formed directly between customer and provider on the terms described in the task and the accepted offer.

5. Payments and fees

Payment is taken when an offer is accepted and held until the task is completed. We deduct a service fee, disclosed before the offer is made. Taxes are your responsibility.

6. Cancellations

See the cancellation policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Conduct

You agree to the community guidelines. We may restrict or remove accounts that breach them.

8. Reviews

Reviews must be honest and based on a completed task. We may remove reviews that breach the guidelines.

9. Content

You keep ownership of what you upload and grant us a licence to display it in connection with the service.

10. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for the acts or omissions of members, for the quality of work performed, or for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing limits rights that cannot be limited under consumer law.

11. Disputes

Raise issues in the task thread first, then with support. These terms are governed by the laws of the country in which the task was performed.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified before they take effect.
