The hire period<\/h2>\n

A hire runs from the on-hire date to the off-hire date, and both days are charged. The rate is tiered: daily, weekly and four-weekly. We always quote the cheapest combination for your dates, and you are never charged more than rounding the whole hire up to the next tier.<\/p>\n

Extending or finishing early<\/h2>\n

Tell the supplier before your off-hire date and they will extend the booking at the same rate. If the extension crosses into a cheaper band, the cheaper band applies. Finishing early does not automatically reduce a weekly or four-weekly rate, because the machine was held out of the fleet for that period.<\/p>\n

Delivery and collection<\/h2>\n

Delivery is quoted each way and shown before you pay. Someone must be on site to receive the machine and sign for it. If the site is not ready and the driver has to return, a second delivery charge applies.<\/p>\n

Condition and fuel<\/h2>\n

Equipment goes out serviced, inspected and fuelled. Return it in the same condition, fuelled and reasonably clean. Refuelling and cleaning are charged at cost if they are needed.<\/p>\n

Damage, loss and the waiver<\/h2>\n

The damage waiver limits what you owe for accidental damage during the hire. It is not insurance, and it does not cover theft where the machine was left unsecured, misuse, operating outside the machine\u2019s rated conditions, or damage to tyres, tracks and glass unless the supplier states otherwise. Without the waiver you are responsible for the full repair or replacement cost.<\/p>\n

Operators and licences<\/h2>\n

Where a machine needs a ticketed operator, that is your responsibility unless you have hired an operator through the platform as well. Suppliers may refuse to release a machine to someone who cannot show the right ticket, and no refund is due in that case.<\/p>\n

Breakdowns<\/h2>\n

Mechanical failure that is not caused by misuse is the supplier\u2019s to fix. Contact them through the booking; they will repair or swap the unit and the hire clock stops while it is down.<\/p>\n

Cancellations<\/h2>\n

You can cancel from your dashboard up until the machine leaves the yard, and the payment is refunded. Once it is out, contact the supplier to arrange an early off-hire.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
